Discounts will appear at checkout.   Papyrus, used in ancient times as a writing surface, is actually not a paper because sheets are not formed from mashed pulp fiber. Sheets of papyrus are formed by overlapping pounded strips of reed. The naturally occuring lignen acts as a glue binding the strips together. Papyrus is a heavy weight surface which can accept ink, acrylics and gouache. It can also be used for silkscreen and block printing techniques. Available in natural and dark brown.
